NOTE:
Media Center Outlook runs on 32-bits (x86) versions of Windows 7 and
Windows Vista only; it does not run on 64-bits (x64) versions of Windows.
Media Center Outlook cannot be used on Media Center extenders.
IMPORTANT: Please make sure you also install Microsoft Outlook and
Microsoft's Collaboration Data Objects on your machine.
Media Center Outlook needs both to access the contents of Microsoft
Outlook!
To install the CDO library, there are two options:
- If you make use of Outlook 2003, you can install the CDO library
during the setup procedure of Microsoft Office 2003.
- If you make use of Outlook 2007, you can
download the CDO library (version 1.2.1 or higher) from the Microsoft
site and install it (after you've installed Microsoft Outlook 2007).
Please remember:
- This software is provided "as is".
- Support will not be given.
- It is not allowed to any other party than
OABsoftware to (re)distribute or sell Media Center Mail for Windows 7/Vista, neither separate, nor
as part of a Media Center PC package, nor in any other way.
- You may be asked to pay a small license fee
in the near future.
